A local high-end spa on Capitol Hill hired me to create a poster and social media posts for their Pride event. The idea was to create imagery playing off "a friend of Dorothy" but also fits within the classic imagery the spa uses for branding.
Mildred + Gertrude is a high-end spa in Seattle and wanted to attract a queer clientele for their Pride event. They wanted a poster, to be printed, and social media posts for their digital presence. The spa uses mostly black-and-white or restrained color palettes for their branding, so it was a challenge to get the feeling of "Pride" (lots of saturated colors, to say the very least lol) with a look that was appropriate for the identity of the spa.
