This was a school project in which we had to find a way to advertise Secret Aardvark Hot Sauce. We decided on a pop-up speakeasy that would feature food and drink recipes centered around the brand.
I worked on this project with Jillian Flahiff. People love exclusive or interesting off-beat experiences so a "secret" speakeasy featuring "Secret" Aardvark seemed appropriate. For the posters, we were inspired by vintage liquor posters that were popular in the early to mid 1900s (around the time of the actual Prohibition). These posters could be hung up, framed, in the speakeasy space and wheatpasted around town. We also included a QR code poster, in the same style as the others, so people could see where the pop-up speakeasy was at.
All three posters, and the mockup, seen here were created by me.
